Carpet Decorators Inc opened the doors

to our first office in 1972 as a traditional style residential floor covering store in Central City Kentucky, founded by Harold and Carolyn Young. In 1976 they welcomed their son Mark Young to the team and expanded into commercial flooring applications. Soon after CDi began performing work throughout the region. The venture into commercial work was so successful, in 1985 the residential division was sold to focus on servicing commercial clients fulltime. In the late 90's CDi expanded further adding offices in both Louisville and Indianapolis.
